The “Creative Coding” Workshop is for students of all semesters, over the course of one day. Coding is the art of writing software. While most code is functional, Creative coding emphasizes the expression rather than the function. This allows us designers the perfect platform to experiment and learn how to code, and create.
This workshop is for beginners of coding. No previous knowledge is necessary. We will be learning through a programming interface called “Processing“, developed by the MIT Media Lab. Most of the programs written by the students will be online, and instantly sharable.
This Creative Coding workshop was conducted in the 64th Annual NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture) Convention, which was held in Christ (deemed to be) University, School of Architecture, in their Kengeri Campus.
